I can hardly believe it, but it has been over five years since I last travelled anywhere. Okay, I have been to Mexico twice (less than a full week in each Baja and Isla Mujeres), but I am starting to work travel back into my life. Many hours of my life recently have been devoted to finding cheap plane tickets, booking impromptu trips to wherever we can find the cheap plane tickets, and researching said places.
It is my hope to be able to come back to this blog with each trip to lay out some details and share a few stories. It's amazing how therapeutic it can feel to spend 10 minutes revisiting stories from my own travels...
So, without further ado, the 2018-2019 line-up so far includes:
Jamaica December 25th to January 1st
Ireland March 23rd to March 31st
Shorter trips than I'm used to, yes. But, the longer trips will come (starting with Myanmar this summer, hopefully!). I am thankful for the time I have to do these trips, though, and I cannot wait to get back out there.
